4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days Review | An Italian Movie

My brother had given this movie. Along with this movie he had given me Annie Hall, The White Ribbon, A Separation and much more. I enjoyed them all. I didn’t know why the name of the movie was 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days. I liked the way that the director focuses on a character. I was very stressed watching the movie. I was feeling the same as the character in the movie was feeling. I had never watched a movie like this. It is presented in such a realistic way that it didn’t feel that it’s just a movie. The way the abortionist always scolded the girls always scared the shit out of me. The movie very aesthetically shows how difficult it is to get rid of the pregnancy. There are several moments in the movie that gave me goosebumps.
The movie focuses on the intense feeling of a girl and how she encompasses through the extreme situation through her life. The movie teaches us how intrepid, careful and tolerant we should be. I was glad to know that the movie has won Palme d’Or. It is one of the finest movies that I’ve seen.
I rate the movie 9 out of 10.
